Stephanie Millner Pet Photography
Stephanie Millner is an example of a true pet portrait photographer (though she does humans too!). Her pet portraits focus specifically on her subjects faces & actions with little to no props or action. I really love that she stresses the facial expressions — particularly smiles — and captures that one specific moment in time.
Modern Eco-Friendly Dog Houses by TAP Architecture
Are these some good looking dog houses or what? They were created by TAP Architecture, an Oklahoma-based architecture firm who participated in The Central Oklahoma Humane Society (OK Humane) My Life as a Dog Challenge, which was held last September.
Dog Tornado Interactive Dog Toy
I would love one of these Dog Tornado Interactive Dog Toys. Basically, it’s an intelligence-building puzzle game that challenges your dog to investigate the whereabouts of hidden treats. When your dog turns the bones, the treats are revealed. It has anti-slip feet – great for vinyl, hardwood or tile and you can throw it in the dishwasher (bonus!).

Mutt and Moddy Doggy Dog Houses by Jesse Doquilo
Jesse Doquilo’s Mutt dog house (above) is one of my favorite modern dog house designs, and he’s come out with a brand new one called Moddy Doggy (last photo). Both houses are priced at $1250 (including shipping). Moddy Doggy will soon be available for purchase online.

Neue Galerie presents a new brand, Neue Hund, a line of chic canine couture and luxe accessories inspired by the museum’s mascot, a chocolate miniature Schnauzer named Milly von Barksky (the model). The line was conceived by museum director Renée Price, who travels the world to assemble the finest accessories for dogs and their owners, made by some of the most talented designers. Every item incorporates the principles of Vienna 1900 design: a refined aesthetic, exquisite materials, and superior craftsmanship. In other words, these are for the most distinguished and discerning of doggies.
The Hund Travel Carrier is made from hand-sewn chocolate brown calf-skin with comfortable hand-stitched leather handles, detachable woven shoulder strap, and nickel-plated brass hardware. Suitable for pets up to 20 lbs. Produced by R. Horn’s Wien.
Polli and Pillow Pillow Pillow Team Up
Pillow Pillow Pillow is a line of comfy, cozy pillows and totes that feature a variety of playful pets, created by Aaron Stewart and Hornet Toys. After seeing his collection in New York, the designers at Australian jewelry company Polli teamed up with Aaron to produce a new collection of canine friends in the form of necklaces and earrings. Polli donates $1 from the sale of each piece to the World Wildlife Foundation. Scooter the Dachshund is pictured above.
