I’m super excited to share a very special Dog-I-Y with you today! Serena from Pretty Fluffy has been hard at work, along with Sarah from Chic Sprinkles, putting together an amazing recipe book for dogs called 52 Weeks of Treats. It is chock full of unique and healthy recipes — not to mention gorgeous photos — and is something every person who loves to spoil their dog should own!
We have a very special treat for you today! Kate from MiniEco (one of my favorite modern DIY/craft sites on the entire Internet) put together some super awesome wrapping paper designs just for Dog Milk!
Thanks to the VERY patient and detail-oriented people at LEAP Design and our new favorite mascot, MailChimp Freddie, I am proud to share with you the new look of the Dog Milk Daily Digest – our daily email newsletter. This was a long time coming. I loved Google Feedburner’s emails but it doesn’t seem that they’re putting anything into Feedburner these days, and besides hating the layout, I really wanted to customize them to be as beautiful and designy as our website. Ta-da!

The temperature has dropped, the snow is sticking, and winter is officially upon us! Daily walks are a must in this house, their importance only paralleled by the need to stay warm and dry. (I grew up in Arizona — being cold and wet is not an option!!) Smash and Wrigley have similarly intense feelings about being dry and cozy. So, when I spotted this water-resistant, fleece-lined jacket from FouFou Dog, I knew I’d found the perfect winter coat for these weather-sensitive pups. The Donation by Design collection is a new project from the fine folks at blanketID. It’s a simple but brilliant idea: There are a lot of animal-loving, creative people out there who would love to help and use their talents for the greater good. So, blanketID asked them to create a design for a tag and donate it, along with a choice of charity that’s close to their heart.
LoveThyBeast is a brand new pet accessories company based in Brooklyn whose modern products are blowing my mind. From beds to totes to travel bowls (to this awesome pyramid house - OMG), their collection is absolutely stunning, not to mention built on the principles of sustainability: all of their materials are locally milled, sourced from craftsmen and textile mills within 200 miles of their office. I LOVE that.
