We’re always excited for the chance to review high quality toys here at Dog Milk (especially ones that made it onto our gift guide!). So many toys seem designed to fall apart in 0.003 seconds, that it’s refreshing when new toys come on the market that promise durability. Enter the Garden Fresh plush toy collection from P.L.A.Y. Dolan Geiman is Chicago-based mixed media artist whose “eco-friendly artwork emerges from a folk art tradition infused with a contemporary, urban style”. Based in Chicago, Dolan spends his time creating incredible pieces from salvaged wood, found objects, and other recycled materials. Obviously, we’re over-the-moon for his Dog Walk Collection, a series of made-to-order artwork available in just about any breed.
We’re longtime fans of the graphic, sustainably-made dog beds from See Scout Sleep. When we heard that they are now available 3 new colors, a recycled poly-fill option (as well as their traditional kapok and buckwheat filler), and a new, limited-edition, cream-colored hemp — we were thrilled!
Australian artist Kirra Jamison has long been a favorite of mine and, as fate would have it, she is also a dog lover*! (I knew it!) Check out more of her gorgeous home and adorable little Frenchie over on SF Girl by Bay.
*I think we better get The Scoop on this little pup, don’t you?
Walloff is a playful new all-in-one feeder and food mat by Spanish creative studio Stone Designs. It’s slated to be available through Vigar (an online shop based in Spain) sometime this spring. Paws crossed some U.S. stores pick this clever product up!
The following post is brought to you by House of Paw et Bebe. We’re very paw-ticular about our partners and only feature those we think are top dog.
House of Paw et Bebe is the first of its kind: a posh puppy and baby boutique — in one! Their brick-and-mortar store is located in NYC’s Upper East Side, but their impressively curated collection is also available to browse in their online shop (for those of us who can’t make it to the Big Apple). Of course, we couldn’t help but round up some of our favorite products from this one-of-a-kind concept shop — check ‘em out below!

Gus and Abby is an animal-inspired stationery and print shop run by Canadian artist Shannon Alexandra. Her modern illustrations feature many of our favorite canine companions, although the odd camel and pig make an appearance as well. Snag a print, card, or 2013 calendar (it’s not too late!) right here.
