The following post is brought to you by Petswag. We’re very paw-ticular about our partners and only feature those we think are top dog.
“Fine design for furry friends” is the tagline over at Petswag — and they mean it! Doug and Amanda Loback — Petswag’s founders, curators, and resident crazy dog people — love good design almost as much as they love their pets. When they began to furnish their first home, Doug and Amanda realized the only thing missing was good design for their three dogs, Dexter, Holder, and Lucy — and they were not alone. Alas, Petswag was born!
Petswag carries a wide range of unique and stylish pet products — from beds and bowls to collars and carriers – for dogs, cats, and more. Every brand Petswag carries is hand-selected, including many of our favorite brands like Cloud7, Doca Pet, and Free Stitch.

We’ve professed our love for Cloud7 in the past, and I thought it might be good to check in with what the German studio has been up to. I’m glad I did: they’ve got a whole mess o’ new beds, leashes, toys, bowls, and accessories that are just gorgeous, as well as an expanded collection of their classic travel beds. You can admire the whole line (as well as take a peek at their sweet portrait gallery) at Cloud7.

I know we just posted (a super awesome) Dog-I-Y last week, but I couldn’t possibly wait a whole month to share this DIY project! Ben Uyeda, from the incredibly cool DIY blog HomeMade Modern, sent over his latest project: a DIY geometric wooden dog house. ISN’T IT AMAZING? I’m pretty sure I involuntarily spit coffee all over my monitor when I opened his email and saw the photos.

I’m a little picky when it comes to T-shirts — the only ones I feel truly comfortable in are American Apparel cotton tees. So how did I miss that American Apparel has a full line of dog stuff? (We actually featured one of their tees back a couple years ago. Again, duh.) The American Apparel pet line features all your favorite AA hoodies and tees, but designed just for your pooch. In addition, they’ve got sweet denim beds and collars and leashes to complete the collection. Check it all out at American Apparel. (If nothing else, their adorable array of doggie models is sure to brighten your day.)

We’re longtime fans of the graphic, sustainably-made dog beds from See Scout Sleep. When we heard that they are now available 3 new colors, a recycled poly-fill option (as well as their traditional kapok and buckwheat filler), and a new, limited-edition, cream-colored hemp — we were thrilled!

It hasn’t been long since we first featured Brooklyn-base pet accessories brand LoveThyBeast but it looks like they’ve been hard at work on a new spring collection! They’ve added all new collars, leads, coats, vests, and even stationery. Our favorite of the bunch are the beds from the Urbanest Collection.
