We’ve professed our love for Cloud7 in the past, and I thought it might be good to check in with what the German studio has been up to. I’m glad I did: they’ve got a whole mess o’ new beds, leashes, toys, bowls, and accessories that are just gorgeous, as well as an expanded collection of their classic travel beds. I know we just posted (a super awesome) Dog-I-Y last week, but I couldn’t possibly wait a whole month to share this DIY project! Ben Uyeda, from the incredibly cool DIY blog HomeMade Modern, sent over his latest project: a DIY geometric wooden dog house. ISN’T IT AMAZING? I’m pretty sure I involuntarily spit coffee all over my monitor when I opened his email and saw the photos.

While this is a pretty easy project when it comes down to it, it will take a good 7 hours or so, so plan to tackle this over a weekend. Also, for those whose pups are bigger (or smaller) than this adorable Frenchie, you’ll be happy to know that this project can easily be scaled to fit your dog. Richard Velloso, the designer and maker behind Brooklyn-based Olga Guanabara, focuses most of his efforts on hand-building beautiful dining and coffee tables made of reclaimed wood and steel but his newest creation is meant for four-legged family members!

Velloso had long wanted a bed for Olga, his 10-year-old chocolate Lab and inspiration behind the shop’s name, that was comfortable for her and stylish for him. So, like any furniture designer would do, he built one for her out of reclaimed Douglas fir and steel. Lucky dog! Fortunately, Olga is willing to share; one-of-a-kind beds in custom sizes can be ordered directly from Richard through Olga Guanabara.

I’m a little picky when it comes to T-shirts — the only ones I feel truly comfortable in are American Apparel cotton tees. So how did I miss that American Apparel has a full line of dog stuff? (We actually featured one of their tees back a couple years ago. Again, duh.) The American Apparel pet line features all your favorite AA hoodies and tees, but designed just for your pooch. In addition, they’ve got sweet denim beds and collars and leashes to complete the collection. Check it all out at American Apparel. It hasn’t been long since we first featured Brooklyn-base pet accessories brand LoveThyBeast but it looks like they’ve been hard at work on a new spring collection! Whoa, I love this DIY bed idea spotted on Norwegian blog BRIGG: fold a small children’s mattress, top it with faux sheepskin, and hold it all together with two leather belts. BAM! A ridiculously rad pet bed in about 5 minutes.
