I’m not sure about this one…it seems to me that this might encourage the leg-chewing behavior rather than deter it. Nonetheless, interesting design. I think I’d like these on all my chairs just because I like the way it looks!
This would send your dog mixed messages, it is cool looking but to a dog it doesn’t make sense why he can chew some legs and not others. I think a better solution would be an anti-chew spray. I use white vinegar and water to deter my pups from just about anything, be it a new spot they deemed a potty area of furniture they shouldn’t chew on, all natural, safe and best of all I use the spray for a number of other cleaning uses throughout the house instead of toxic chemicals and vinegar is a lot cheaper. http://www.ehow.com/list_5762938_alternatives-bitter-apple-dogs.html for other recipes.
