DogTV: Television for Dogs
Just when you thought dogs have everything these days, now they have DOGTV. DOGTV is the first television channel for dogs that is scientifically developed by a core group of highly acclaimed pet experts. Its 24/7 programming “helps to stimulate, entertain, relax and habituate dogs with shows that expose them to various movements, sounds, objects, experiences and behavior patterns, all from a dog’s point of view.”
DOGTV is getting ready for their nationwide launch. You can subscribe to their newsletter right here to be the first to find out when DOGTV will be available in your area. Until then, I highly recommend you watch some of their preview videos. I had a smile on my face the entire time. The one above – designed for stimulation – was particularly charming.

Love their logo! Maybe they should add a few doorbells into the “stimulating” programming. Doorbells on TV always send my dogs off the deep end. On second thought, maybe DogTV knows what they’re doing by leaving the doorbells out…
haha I feel like the “excitement” channel could be JUST doorbells! All kinds of doorbells…
