Hmmm the dogs ‘n cats I know are voracious eaters and would move these stands in a couple of seconds. So much for good posture and correct height for the pet… not if they’re chasing their dinner across the room in a sliding stand. They lick and push like it’s their last meal.
More for trendy than pets… nice idea though.

Yeah, and cats instinctually crouch down to eat or drink, so not only is a raised bowl counter-productive for them, but you actually want as low and wide a bowl as possible (they don’t like their whiskers touching the edges).
Art for your pets is less important than health / comfort for your pets. Artists for pet products should put function higher on their list than form.
We purchased one of these raised feeders from Trendy Pet and our cats loved it. We left both their old bowls directly on the floor along with the new raised bowls – and they preferred the raised bowls. I think it just depends on what your cats like, but ours definitely took to the new bowls quickly.
We have one for our small dog and it stays put and doesn’t slip or slide. It is durable and easy to clean, and raises the food so that he doesn’t have to crane his neck down to eat.
One weird thing is that he was afraid of it for the first week. I don’t think he was used to seeing his reflection in the polished bowls, as he had a plastic tupperware bowl before.
