Don’t let the name fool you (“neko” means “cat” in Japanese) — these beds ain’t just for cats.
Neko Habitat makes acrylic pet beds in six different colors, as well as complementary cushions. They’re suitable for smaller dogs. While I’m not a fan of the cushion prints with the exception of the Eclipse, I do love the beds. I bet it would be very easy to make your own cushion.Or, you could just flip the printed side over to reveal a furry side that pets will love to snuggle on.
The beds are constructed out of a ¼ inch translucent acrylic frame and stainless steel legs/feet. They have a low center of gravity and were designed to be extremely sturdy, with a maximum weight-bearing load of 30 lbs. Plus, they’re made in the US of A.
I don’t know if this happens to you, but very often one of my dogs steps in something quite yucky on a walk. Or, gets something icky on their rear end, and it needs to be wiped off. And, often their ears are just FUNKY.
I’ve used paper towels and tissues in the past, but I think that sometimes those are a little harsh for their tender areas. I spotted John Paul’s pet wipes – but there are three different ones: Tooth & Gum Wipes, Ear & Eye Wipes, and Body & Paw Bath Wipes. I am curious to know if anyone out there has tried these before? Are they any good? Do you need all three?
I don’t know if I’ve yet professed my love for the fabric known as Neoprene, but let me just tell you that it rocks. This Neoprene Leash Pouch from Wagwear is fantastic — you can attach it to your leash and it can carry spare doggie bags, your cell phone, keys (I really need one for my keys), and a few treats. The nickel grommet dispenses baggies on a roll. The come in two sizes: large and small as well as four colors: blue, orange, brown, and black.
This fantastic and informative illustration was done by Lili Chin of Doggie Drawings. Sometimes I feel like I do the things that you’re not supposed to do, but I can’t help it! I try to instruct my friends to greet my dogs the correct way because otherwise, they jump and get too excited. However, if you don’t know the dog, the incorrect ways could potentially be deadly.
Can you believe it’s not as easy as seven years for every human year? I didn’t until I saw this post on the Dogster blog.
Looks like Lulu is 38 and Beans is 29. Glad I’m not the only girl in the house who’s thirty-something.
