PetFlow

PetFlow in dining

PetFlow is a new online shopping and delivery service that allows you to preselect your pet?s favorite food (including brand, size and flavor) and schedule recurring deliveries based on your pet?s eating habits and dietary needs. The products get delivered straight to your door so you never have to worry about running out of dog food at the last minute or lugging heavy bags back from the pet store again (I always have to make the husband come with me to haul our bag up to our third floor apartment)!

PetFlow boasts more than 50 brands for dogs and cats, including dry and wet food, treats, and even Wee Wee pads. You can filter your search based on special dietary needs or lifestyle conditions, such as weight management, dental health, organic ingredients and skin needs.

Unfortunately, they don’t currently carry Zinpro (be warned: worst website ever!), which is the brand that my dogs eat. If they did and the price was right, you can bet your wet nose I’d be singing up for this service. Only ONE STORE near me carries Zinpro, and that is one of the only stores in the US that carries this brand in stock.

Would you use an automatic pet food delivery service?

  1. This is a great idea, especially for people in metropolitan areas, I imagine. I wonder how their prices compare with local stores or other online pet food suppliers? If the cost was comparable, I’d definitely consider this service! Hmm…

  2. Yeah, the shipping is probably where it would be more expensive. Though, I’ve ordered food online before and even though the shipping was $20, it still ended up being less expensive than any of the local places. Plus, I didn’t even have to leave my house! Hooray for laziness!

  3. Hi Guys,

Thanks for the comments. We are actually offering free shipping with any order over $65, so we are eating the entire cost (for a limited time).

If you need any help, or have any questions please feel free to reach out to us, we love the feedback!

    Cheers, Joe

  4. I signed up to compare prices on my dog’s and cat’s food. Even with their supposed 25% off discount, both were way more expensive than what I typically pay at Petsmart. And that was before shipping.

  5. Hi Kelli,

Thanks for writing in! We don’t charge shipping on any order over $65, plus if you email us exactly what you are currently buying we can try to work out a lower price. You have nothing to lose!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,

    Joe

  6. I just ordered from PetFlow and I can vouch for the great shipping charge – only $4.95 for two 16-lb bags. Lulu is now on Rx dog food and it happened to be cheapest on PetFlow even before the shipping. Sweet deal.

  7. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than the big chain stores but I will gladly pay a couple of dollars more to be treated with respect. There was an error (computer glitch) in my first shipment. They were very prompt and polite in resolving that error. Try getting that when ordering online from a big chain store.
