Scutte

Scutte in green collars leads clothing

While the name Scutte partially makes me cringe and partially makes me laugh, the mission makes me happy. Scutte takes old human clothing and ties and repurposes them into dog clothing and accessories. That means that just about every piece is one-of-a-kind.

  4. What a cool idea! I’ve thought about chopping up some old concert t-shirts that I like but can’t wear any more (wrong size, stained, etc) and transforming them into dog clothes. I don’t have a sewing machine though (and I’m not very good at sewing anyway). These look really awesome.

    • I stink at sewing! I wish I could make some dog tees or sweaters. I made Beans a cowl once but he hated it. He just sat down and stared at me until I took it off.

      • Haha, that’s funny. My mom made a stuffed collar for my dog (I don’t know how to describe it…a ring of fabric that goes around her neck that’s stuffed with batting). She wears it when she’s upstairs at my parents’ house, so she can’t stick her head in between the bars on their railings. She looks really goofy with it on though.
