When I’m not geeking out about awesome dog stuff here or on the Dog Milk Facebook page, I’m sharing some of my favorite non-canine-themed DIY ideas and finds over on Curbly. Well, last month the theme over there was “kids and pets”, a first for Curbly, and one I obviously got SUPER CRAZY EXCITED about.
In Wrigley and Smash’s little corner of the world, the temperature broke 100 degrees this week. ONE HUNDRED DEGREES. If that doesn’t mark the official kick-off of summer, I don’t know what does. In an effort to keep these pups cool and happy and spoiled rotten, I whipped up some homemade doggie ice cream in not one, but three flavors! Ben Uyeda, from the incredibly cool DIY blog HomeMade Modern, sent over his latest project: a DIY geometric wooden dog house. ISN’T IT AMAZING? I’m pretty sure I involuntarily spit coffee all over my monitor when I opened his email and saw the photos.
