I spotted this colorful DIY dog collar project on Instructables recently and immediately fell in love with it! The tutorial has steps for making a collar from scratch, but the yarn applique technique would be pretty easy to apply to an old collar you already have. Check out how right here!

Serena from Pretty Fluffy has been hard at work, along with Sarah from Chic Sprinkles, putting together an amazing recipe book for dogs called 52 Weeks of Treats. It is chock full of unique and healthy recipes — not to mention gorgeous photos — and is something every person who loves to spoil their dog should own!
You may recall that one of the items on my 13 Project list was to make and donate fleece blankets to a local rescue. Well, I finally sat down over the weekend and got started making these cozy little blankets. I’m only about halfway through the 25 I plan on donating to Friends of Animals Utah, but trust me when I say that these are insanely easy!! If you can use scissors, you can make these.
