I’m excited to introduce you to Bucky, the newest member of the NOTCOT empire, a highly-curated family of websites founded by Jean Aw. The two main sites (NOTCOT.com and NOTCOT.org) have become daily sources of inspiration for creatives everywhere, fighting the good fight against “creative block” since 2005 with visually stunning imagery, the latest in international trends, and a passion for all things well-designed. Jean, along with Shawn Sims (who heads up NOTlabs, the experimental, real-world space of NOTCOT — and the Instagram home of Bucky), recently welcomed a wiggly bundle of puppy energy into their lives. Let’s meet this pooch, shall we?

I fell in love with David Bromstad‘s infectious personality and optimism when he first appeared on, and won, HGTV’s first season of Design Star. Since then, he’s gone on to host a multitude of hit TV series, including Color Splash and The White Room Challenge, returning most recently to host the show that launched his career, Design Star. When he’s not busy working as a designer, artist, and TV personality, he’s spending his time cuddling with his two adorable dogs. Let’s meet them, shall we?

I’m excited to get The Scoop on the canine muse behind one of my favorite bloggers and photographers, Dabito of Old Brand New. When he’s not sharing gorgeous images of his daily adventures (including decorating his incredible home, thrifting for vintage finds, and making/eating delicious food), he’s posting photos of his pup Beatrice on his blog and Instagram. To say I’m completely smitten with this little dog would be an understatement! So, let’s meet Ms. Beatrice, shall we?

Janine Kahn is the Editor-in-Chief and founding editor of Dogster and Catster Magazines. In previous career incarnations, she held web editor positions at Village Voice alternative newsweeklies (including SF Weekly and OC Weekly), the Los Angeles Times, and USC’s Online Journalism Review. She has several pompous-sounding awards from her journalism days in a box in her storage unit, but thinks it’s way more impressive that she has her dog tattooed on her skin in three different locations (Editor’s note: Agreed! How bad ass is that?). I have a total crush on her dog, Moxie, and squee beyond control whenever she posts a photo of him. So, let’s meet this squee-inducing, tattoo-inspiring dog, shall we?

Jen Bilik is the owner and founder of Knock Knock. With a background in book editing, writing, design, and arts and crafts, Knock Knock was a natural way to bring all those interests together. Knock Knock’s witty, design-driven books, gifts, and stationery products are sold across the United States, not to mention Canada and the rest of the world. In addition to her boring CEO duties, Jen continues to serve as Knock Knock’s executive creative director. Also? She’s ridiculously funny. Let’s meet Paco, the four-legged muse behind Knock Knock!

Goil Amornvivat and Thomas Morbitzer of TUG Studio are two of my favorite people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. These talented designers both hold Masters Degrees in Architecture from Yale and, when they’re not busy designing dream residential and commercial spaces for their TUG Studio clients, they’re spoiling their dogs Marley and Lily (whom I’ve had the great pleasure of snuggling with)! Let’s meet the canine influencers behind this talented duo, shall we?
