If you’re like me, than your dog probably has about ten different collars. And if you’re a lot like me, than you’ve probably chipped or broken too many fingers nails to count trying to move ID tags from one collar to another. It’s a pain to say the least! Rubit Dog Tag Clips are the perfect solution to this problem. Light-weight and easy to put on, this super high tension clip ensures that your dog’s tags will stay put. Rubits are available on their website or at The Hip Hound in two sizes and a variety of colors. Hooray for tiny solutions!

This photo is what first caught my eye and it made me LOL, but when I took a closer look I saw that the bowtie is actually really cool, too. Created by Loyal Luxe, The Gamer is part of their bowties line for “dogs with strong personalities.” I think I know a few of those kind of dogs…

Did you know that a dog’s nose knows no bounds (say that 10 times fast!)?
In fact, dogs can smell 100 times better than a human. Imagine what smells must smell like to a dog! Smell is the way that most dogs navigate their world just as we depend on our sight.

Sniff Pet Candles are a new brand of aromatherapy candles geared toward your dog. Apparently they contain individually combined natural essences that promote your dog?s optimum health and well-being.
I’m not sure how you can really prove this unless your dog actually seems healthier or more relaxed because of the candles. Either way, these scented candles will help make your home smell nicer and probably rub off a little on you, too!
I love this one:
Fart & Away: This Intense fragrance combination was developed not only to deodorize, but to actually ease the cause of your dog?s unpleasant condition. This mix of floral ylang ylang, tuberose, white tea, myrtle & fennel will take care of it all!
That one was made for Beans!
Sniff donates a portion of each sale to rescue organizations and city shelters.
Recently, I had a conversation with a friend who mentioned she didn’t like to shop at certain pet boutiques because of the high prices and snooty retailers. She mentioned that, while she is incredibly attracted to the beautiful merchandise, she is often intimidated by the atmosphere. Personally, you can’t drag me out of a pet boutique, but I completely understand the issue this friend of mine was having. It’s a critique I’ve often heard from others. After this conversation I was inspired to dig around the web to see if I could find merchandise that had the “boutique look” without the intimidation factor. I was beyond surprised to find a collection of great items from an unexpected source, Bed Bath and Beyond!

Gemma Correll’s love for the pug gets expressed in her most recent illustration — Pugs Not Drugs. Grab yourself a tote bag or a greeting card from All Mighty, and while you’re there can you pick me up a Boston love mug?

I don’t know if I’ve yet professed my love for the fabric known as Neoprene, but let me just tell you that it rocks. This Neoprene Leash Pouch from Wagwear is fantastic — you can attach it to your leash and it can carry spare doggie bags, your cell phone, keys (I really need one for my keys), and a few treats. The nickel grommet dispenses baggies on a roll. The come in two sizes: large and small as well as four colors: blue, orange, brown, and black.
