Boogie On Instruments Illustrations

Boogie On Instruments Illustrations in for humans

We’ve featured the awesome Lili Chin and her sa-weeeet illustrations before, and you know that her adorable Boston terrier Boogie serves as inspiration for (and subject of) much of her work. I’m super excited to see that Lili has created yet another installment in her mind-numbingly cute Boogie On series — this time with the inimitable Boogie “on” a variety of musical instruments. (In the past, he’s perched atop iconic pieces of midcentury furniture as well as antique scooters.)

Wrigley by Studio Legohead

Wrigley by Studio Legohead in for humans

If you follow Dog Milk on Twitter or Instagram, you probably saw me freaking out last week when this portrait of Wrigley arrived at my doorstep. Emmanuelle Walker’s Dogs & Cars

Emmanuelle Walkers Dogs & Cars in other

The other day I ran across the series “Dogs & Cars” by London illustrator, animator, and visual developer Emmanuelle Walker (originally from Montreal), and I think it’s awesome. I love how in each illustration the human driver’s head and/or face is obscured, making the story all about the dogs and the cars. It’s almost as if the dogs are the ones actually controlling the vehicles. I don’t know, but for a dog, riding down the open road with your head hanging out the car window probably makes you feel like a superhero.
