If you follow Dog Milk on Instagram or Facebook, you may have seen my excited exclamations about spotting “the best wrapping paper ever” at a local store. I’m kicking myself now for not picking some up right then and there, but after some googlin’ I was able to track down the paper company responsible for creating such adorable gift wrap: Ecojot.
You might already be familiar with Nice Mice for You if you remember their calendar we featured back at the end of last year or if you’re a fan of French bulldogs, Corgis, or cute things in general, like illustrations of dogs brushing their teeth. The delightful shop features art prints, greeting cards, calendars, and magnets — all the work of Croatian illustrator and graphic designer Natrashka. Head on over and take a look.
Gus and Abby is an animal-inspired stationery and print shop run by Canadian artist Shannon Alexandra. Her modern illustrations feature many of our favorite canine companions, although the odd camel and pig make an appearance as well. Snag a print, card, or 2013 calendar (it’s not too late!) right here.
It’s Valentine’s Day (kisses to you all!), and do you know what has stolen my heart? These cute doggie prints, totes, and cards from Alexandra Snowdon. Her designs are screenprinted by hand in her Manchester, UK shop using eco-friendly materials. They make me smile.
I’m already the resident “crazy dog lady” among my friends and family, so why not take that title and run with it for the holidays? If you’re in the same boat, or just like sending out super awesome and unique cards, here are 16 designs to put some cheer (and a little bit of ‘dog crazy’) into your holiday greetings this year. Enjoy! And, of course, happy howl-idays!

Well, February is upon us, which means we’re being assaulted with hearts and Cupids and “every kiss begins with Kaayyyyyy” at every turn. Even though I’m married and in love and all that jazz, Valentine’s Day usually makes me want to kick things. When you think about it, though, we all have the best Valentines around — our pups! I mean, they actually show us what love is all about, and they don’t care a thing about cards and roses and diamonds. We’ve rounded up some great Valentine’s Day items for you and your pup.
