The Gourdo from Ruffwear is — well — shaped like a gourd. Although now that I see them all grouped together like this they kinda look like multicolored sperm. Anyway, it is made from natural latex rubber, a renewable and sustainable resource and the black one contains 30% reclaimed-rubber.

Remember I told you that I went to that Boston Meetup? Well, when I was there someone had recommended Orbee-Tuff® toys by Planet Dog to me when I explained that my dogs pretty much eat their toys like treats rather than play with them. I talked about the eco-friendly bone a few weeks back, and wondered whether my dogs would be able to destroy it. Many of the toys are over $10, so before I splurge can anyone weigh in as to whether these toys live up to the rumors? The Amazon reviews are not very informative.

Thanks to Christine from LAMADesigns, I know about the Humunga Stache Dog Toy
. On one side, it’s a fun black ball for your dog to play with while on the flip side is a gigundus moustache (yes, gigundus). For $15, this would crack me up at least once a day — totally worth it.

The Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff® RecycleBONE at Paw Luxury is awesome. First of all, it says “Recycle. Reuse. Rewoof.” on it. Secondly, it’s made from “regrind,” or 100% 1st quality Orbee-Tuff® material that would otherwise be discarded. What a great way to reuse their material.

I’m not sure about this one…it seems to me that this might encourage the leg-chewing behavior rather than deter it. Nonetheless, interesting design. I think I’d like these on all my chairs just because I like the way it looks!
