Mijo & Bambi is a San Francisco-based small pet company that makes dog apparel from mostly organic, remnant, and/or recycled fabrics for toy breed dogs. Each piece is made locally in downtown San Francisco. Three percent of each purchase is donated to animals in need.
I love this Union Jack harness I found from UK-based dog company Mutts & Hounds. Made to order, each harness is created from British textile designer, Emily Bond’s rustic printed linens and has an adjustable Velcro fastening. Rover Dog was created back in Spring 2007 as co-founder AnneMarie Minardi’s answer to a “pet fashion market saturated with frilly, glittery, and impractical garments that had little design value.” Unable to find classic and well-made dog clothing and accessories for her puppy Ella, AnneMarie decided to team up with partner Gillian Ward to create Rover Dog.
