They have also designed a wristband option for use with children. The device is still currently a concept, but the idea looks to be very promising.

I spotted these over at The Premium Pet and I really love the color combination, it reminds me of the southwest, but modern. The vibrant yellow leather is inlaid with rectangular turquoise stones. And, they have a matching leash! I’m a sucker these days for matching collars and leashes.

I have been a fan of Annie’s Sweatshop for quite some time now and love that she’s got some great eco-friendly dog accessories. My current favorite is this modern plaid set that consists of a harness (looks like it’s sold out!), collar, and leash. I love that Annie will give you a $5 rebate if you recycle your old collar or leash with her.

This Holy Cow collar by Etsy seller jenniebgoode is so adorable that I just had to post. Jennie is a Canadian-born animal lover who has made her home in South Carolina, with her husband, elderly cat named Bailey and her English Bulldog Miss Sophia (pictured below). I think if Lulu were an English Bulldog instead of an American one, she’d look just like Miss Sophia.

I stopped by the FilzFelt booth at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) this year and they clued me in to Cosmo’s Collars, who make collars from felt and other materials. Made from eco-friendly German felt, these collars can be easily washed in the dishwasher (top rack).

They recently launched a very extensive line of oversized canine collars that resemble men’s ties and offer over 80 different styles in 3 different sizes that also can be purchased with matching leads. Which one is your favorite? I think I like the blue one in the middle above best, but it’s hard to choose!

Alite Designs is a new San Francisco-based design company. Their goal is to create products that help people get outside and have fun, especially with their dogs. They want to help take the hassle out of walking your dog, so you can just grab your leash and go have fun with your pooch. Plus, they love design and want to step up the design aesthetic for dog products and move beyond traditional fire hydrant and bone decorations. Amen!

So far, they have created the Boa Lite Leash, Kung-Fu Collar, and Boa Pod (pictured respectively). They’re all made with light-weight durable materials and designed with fun pockets or discrete waste bag compartments.
