The Hydrant is the Etsy shop of Lindsay Shostal where she sells her handmade collars, leashes, and most recently doggie legwarmers, all with a whimsical almost storybook theme. Using rainbow and bright colors, as well as prints like sock monkeys or Japanese comics, each piece will make you smile and remember that you can’t really take doggie accessories too seriously.

I am slightly obsessed with Silly Buddy. After seeing Buddy on the Etsy homepage a few days in a row in his adorable bow ties, I knew I had to take a closer look. And boy is he silly. Any by silly I mean awesome.

The lovely weather we’ve been having is quite a tease, giving me a serious case of Spring Fever. In its honor, here are some lively Springy collars from Chloe’s Collars.

For those of you comfortable using chain collars, I found a great company called Platinum Pets that offers colorful chain collars that’ll have you saying “see ya later, Silver!”

EzyDog is a company dedicated to active pet owners, a category I would probably fall under if my dogs weren’t so lazy. But for those of you who run, ski, hike, or just play outdoors, EzyDog’s collars, harnesses, coats, leashes, and protective gear will hold up over time and stand up to the weather. Our affiliate, CSN Stores, just started carrying EzyDog so check them out!

I have a confession to make. I get a huge kick out of matching my outfits to Miles’. I know what you’re thinking. But it’s fun! And a big reason why I was so excited to find out about Poetic Licence’s new line of dog collars called Poetic Paws.
