Not only am I swooning over Cogo Pet’s simple, modern pet grooming products and their packaging, I’m impressed at the way they do business. This package design for the Oh My Dog! hair care line is nothing short of spectacular. The only disappointing part about it is that it’s not an actual hair care line for dogs! Bummed? Yeah, I was too. But I still appreciate the enchanting work of Martha Robertson and Alfonso Sotelo, who designed this packaging during a workshop at ELISAVA in Barcelona. Martha and Alfonso imagined dog washing as an “adventure” of running, splashing, biting, and a whole host of other things dogs to to avoid baths. They decided they wanted to add a bit of humor and fun to the process by designing this charming packaging in which dogs interact and play with the logo. I think it’s brilliant and well-done. If only all companies put this much thought into creating beautiful packaging!
Founded in New York City by a former L’Oreal executive and two freelance creative directors; Ragazzi Life is a new brand of dog shampoos, dog conditioners, and grooming products. Manufactured here in the USA using plant-based biodegradable ingredients, Ragazzi Life products are vet-tested and dog approved. If Lulu wasn’t allergic to everything including water (joke), I’d definitely try these out. Also available is a line of dog leashes, collars, and hand made dog bowls. Check it out.
A while back I fell in love with The Urban Animal Scientist’s line of incredibly stylish silk dog collars. Recently, founder Antonio F. Lewis has blown me away again with his latest collection of beautifully designed dog shampoos and conditioners from The Wash collection, and these modern and elegant home candles from The Loft collection. Both items are definitely display-worthy and perfect for keeping your pet-friendly home from smelling like, well, dog.
