Italian outdoor company Fuora, is launching DogHouse a modern and stylish dog kennel which requires no maintenance at all. DogHouse is a high quality and high performance dog kennel made with a multi layered birch wood from a Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) sustainable source. The wood has been treated with a special thermoplastic overlay to resist all weather conditions. The sides are manually coated with an eco-friendly transparent varnish: “We wanted the core of the wood to be visible,” say designers Manolo Bossi and Alberto Benedetti, founder of Fuora.

The Cubix Dog Mansion by German company Best Friend’s Home is probably the most modern dog house I have ever seen. It is designed to pay homage to the Bauhaus style. The raised roof and rectangular windows are nice architectural details. It’s made from quality varnished wood and features break-proof window glass that is resistant to all types of weather conditions. Available sizes include small, medium, and extra large (yay!). This pet palace is manufactured and shipped from Germany, so I’m guessing overseas shipping ain’t be cheap, but — hey — neither is this dog house.

The Magis Dog House is for one pampered pup. Like all of Magis’ awesome designs, the brightly-colored polyethylene really makes this a modern design.
