Molly Mutt just launched a fabulous new duvet fabric for their dog bed duvets called Beast of Burden. Named after the Rolling Stones song, this new addition is part vintage, part graffiti but 100% love. Inspired by the special lined paper we used to use as children when practicing our handwriting, this fun light duvet expresses how much we love our dog. I think this might be one of my favorite dog bed duvets to date!

The Muddy Dog is a company started by Susan Dench, inspired by her “muddy” Golden Retriever Molly who had a penchant for down comforters. She got the idea to create luxurious dog bed inserts from down and down alternative as well as complementary duvets.

She also created a line of dog bed slipcovers cleverly called “Dog On It.” The slipcovers come in four sizes and fit most standard dog beds as well as The Muddy Dog’s own pet beds. And, if you want your doggie to blend in, you can purchase yards of fabric and make matching pillows for your sofa! The selection is half modern half tradition, a nice mix of styles to suit just about any dog owner’s decor.

There are also leather duvets available, which would work very well for my dogs who are a mess and a half!

Molly Mutt recently launched some new patterns for their doggie duvets. They’re named La Vie En Rose, Pictures of You, Wishbone, Mr. Postman and I Walk the Line (pictured in that order). All of Molly Mutt’s dog duvet fabrics are named after songs because of the owner, Molly Mundt’s, love of music!

Have you ever had a dog bed that didn’t have a removable cover? Well, I have one. It’s awful. I’m considering an upgrade this year when we move to a new house. I figured the dogs need an upgrade too. New house = nice big yard & new dog beds.
