Twitter Collar from The Mod Dog

I love this new collar from The Mod Dog, aptly named “Twitter”. It comes in three colorways: blue/green, lime/turquoise, or orange/fuchsia. It has a heavy nylon webbed backing and a plastic buckle. It also comes with a D-ring for tags and you can choose other options like a metal buckle collar or a matching leash (at an extra charge). Sizes are medium to extra large.

Upcycled Umbrella Dog Rain Coats

Taryn Zychal is an animal-loving Philadelphia-based designer who, through her company Recycling Zychal tries to keep everyone dry when it rains, even our four-legged friends.
She has designed these dog rain coats and hoods from rescued and recycled umbrellas. The old umbrellas are transformed into fun and functional wet-weather wear for humans and dogs. Recycling Zychal will be presenting this design at EcoTopia, an exhibition featuring twenty exciting new green/sustainable product designs submitted from all over the world being sponsored by Nectar, a Long Beach design consultancy.
Recycling Zychal accepts donations of broken or old umbrellas and will donate $1 to an animal rescue organization for each broken umbrella donated! More details about making a donation or purchasing a raincoat over at Taryn’s Etsy shop.
Lucky Fiona Dog Collars

I’ve owned a Lucky Fiona dog collar — custom made for my Lulu. It’s a shame Beans likes to munch on Lulu’s collar or I think it would have lasted much longer. We had to buy a leather collar for Lulu, and yet it is still full of little teeth marks!
However, here’s what I will say for Lucky Fiona’s collars: large fabric selection, custom sizes, they’re well made, strong, and durable. So, if you don’t have a little muncher like I do, take a look at Lucky Fiona.
