Neue Galerie presents a new brand, Neue Hund, a line of chic canine couture and luxe accessories inspired by the museum’s mascot, a chocolate miniature Schnauzer named Milly von Barksky (the model). The line was conceived by museum director Renée Price, who travels the world to assemble the finest accessories for dogs and their owners, made by some of the most talented designers. Every item incorporates the principles of Vienna 1900 design: a refined aesthetic, exquisite materials, and superior craftsmanship. In other words, these are for the most distinguished and discerning of doggies.

The Hund Travel Carrier is made from hand-sewn chocolate brown calf-skin with comfortable hand-stitched leather handles, detachable woven shoulder strap, and nickel-plated brass hardware. Suitable for pets up to 20 lbs. Produced by R. Horn’s Wien.

I have been a fan of Annie’s Sweatshop for quite some time now and love that she’s got some great eco-friendly dog accessories. My current favorite is this modern plaid set that consists of a harness (looks like it’s sold out!), collar, and leash. I love that Annie will give you a $5 rebate if you recycle your old collar or leash with her.

This Comfort Dog Harness comes in four different color combos, and is made of padded, breathable mesh. Although I’ve expressed my love for Puppia, these look very nice and modern too. The site reviews give it 4.5 stars, which is always something I look for when purchasing a pet product. Plus, how cute is that Frenchie?

The S & S Harness is a new product from Puppia, featuring a pink or green apple pattern. They also have a lead and matching shirt, if that’s your thing. How cute would this be for spring (can you tell I’m dreaming of warmer temperatures)? Beans already has a simple black Puppia harness, which I think is one of the best ones on the market. Do you have any Puppia products that you just love?

My friend Julie says I’ve seen everything, but this morning she sent me a link of something I haven’t yet seen — eco-friendly dog hoodies and supplies from Annie’s Sweatshop. Because Julie and I both have dogs, this is definitely something we’re both bookmarking for future reference. I think Beans needs one of those hoodies.
