American Apparel Dog Collection

American Apparel Dog Collection in collars leads clothing beds furniture

I’m a little picky when it comes to T-shirts — the only ones I feel truly comfortable in are American Apparel cotton tees. So how did I miss that American Apparel has a full line of dog stuff? (We actually featured one of their tees back a couple years ago. Again, duh.) The American Apparel pet line features all your favorite AA hoodies and tees, but designed just for your pooch. In addition, they’ve got sweet denim beds and collars and leashes to complete the collection. Check it all out at American Apparel. (If nothing else, their adorable array of doggie models is sure to brighten your day.)

Paul Frank Hoodies from 26 Bars & a Band

Paul Frank Hoodies from 26 Bars & a Band in clothing

Wrigley wanted me to remind you all, in case you’d forgotten, that it’s hoodie weather! I mean, what’s more appropriate for a day of curling up with your favorite blanket and sleeping the winter away than a colorful and stylish hoodie? Not much, except for maybe a Hot Toddy (but dog’s don’t drink, so there’s that). If your pup could use an extra layer of warmth this winter, you’ll definitely want to check out these cozy Paul Frank hoodies from 26 Bars & a Band!

New Dog Hoodies, Bowls, and Beds from Threadless

New Dog Hoodies, Bowls, and Beds from Threadless in dining clothing beds furniture

My husband and I have this running joke that whenever we take a trip anywhere, Dottie wants us to bring her back a T-shirt. (She never gets a T-shirt.) If you are one to treat your pup to the occasional tee, however, you’ll be happy to know that T-shirt purveyor extraordinaire, Threadless, has new graphic hoodies for dogs. And hoodies aren’t all… Threadless has a whole new line of great beds and bowls, too. And like all of Threadless’ goods, they feature designs submitted by members of the Threadless community.

Osso & Co.

Lately I have been noticing an increasing number of urban dog dads walking their dogs around town. What I haven’t noticed much of are hip dog products designed for the dog loving guy. Spotting dog dads all over my city, I figure there must be a market for this type of design. Guys want their dogs to look cool too, right? That’s why I was jazzed when I came across Osso & Co.’s Urban Legends collection.

D.O.G. Hoodies

D.O.G. Hoodies in other

On my hunt for Fall-wear for Miles, I came across these Greek-system inspired hoodies and was instantly transported back to my college days (or at least what I could remember of those beer-soaked days). For those of you not fluent in the Greek alphabet, the letters on these sweatshirts are the symbols for Delta Omega Gamma, or D.O.G. Initiate your dog into your own family’s fraternity this Fall with one of these hoodies (available in yellow, red, purple, and black) from FabDog. Perfect for party animals and their pets!

Hipsters. They’re so hot right now. Unhappy Hipsters, Hipster is the New Homeless, Stuff Hipsters Hate, etc. The long list of blogs celebrating hipster culture through humor seems to be growing at an exponential rate. In the sea of emerging hipster blogs, my personal favorite is the always hilarious Hipster Puppies. What’s cuter than a Ray-Ban wearing, Pabst Blue Ribbon sipping, Mad Men watching hipster pup? The answer? Not much. It’s no wonder that Hipster Puppies is in the process of becoming a soon to be released book! Inspired by one of my favorite daily reads, I put together a roundup of some great products to help your dog achieve this of-the-moment look. Check it out if you want to, I don’t really care. (Wow, that was so hipster of me).
