I love the subtle pizzazz of Nach Bijoux‘s handpainted porcelain dog jewelry. It’s saying, “I’m totally cool and collected, but yes, that is a French bulldog I’m wearing.” There are Boston terriers, bulldogs, basset hounds and more — as rings, cufflinks, tie pins, necklace charms, or earrings. Delicate but bold, they’re just the right amount of oomph — or pooch, as the case may be.
Editor’s Note: I’ve asked a few of my favorite bloggers to fill in while we make our way to Portland, OR! Please give them a warm, tail-wagging welcome!
Hello dog lovers! It’s Jan from Poppytalk! Being a new dog owner myself, I’m excited to bring some of my favorite handmade pet-themed products I’ve come across lately to Dog Milk! As I hadn’t had a dog since I was a child, I was quite surprised there was so much to learn when it came to dog things. From collars to dishes, we’ve been learning as we go, and who would know there would be so many choices? I’m loving the handmade items the best though, so when Capree asked if I would guest post here, I immediately hopped over to Etsy to find some faves. (I’ve added a couple of fun DIYs!) Let’s take a look shall we?

I feel like wearing dog-themed attire is a rite of passage into “crazy dog lady” territory. If you’re ready to take that leap (I am… and have!), check out these resin bracelets by designer Jessica Kagan Cushman.
P.S. Dogster did the heavy lifting and rounded up all her dog-themed designs in one spot, so head over there and let us know which is your fave!
I love Australian company Polli, and they just released an adorable new necklace featuring a basset hound named Bernard who’s quite a dapper dude with his bow tie… he also comes as wooden brooches and Sweet Polli (kids?) pendants.
French design friends Claire and Arnaud began producing their origami jewelry in 2008, after a Japanese friend taught them the folding handcraft. Their clever jewelry is full of cute and well-crafted animals available in gold and silver. Naturally, I’m a huge fan of this little Origami Dog Necklace. I’m dying to give him a home around my neck.
