I’m sure many of you remember the controversial Bark Out Loud post we did earlier this year about Art Lebedev Studio‘s retractable gun leash. Well, voices were heard and made way for this much less aggressive and more playful redesign by Yunfan Tan. Looks kind of like a water gun… now if only it shot water, too…
I was in a cute little dog store called Jake and Elwood’s House of Chews (located in New Hope, PA) last weekend and stumbled on the Wagging Green Mod Dog collection, a graphic-patterned black and white design made of ribbon and bamboo webbing. I was sooooo close to buying the whole shebang for Lulu.
Wagging Green is committed to reducing a pet?s eco footprint (as well as their own) and giving back by donating 5% of profits to important environmental issues. A portion of all profits from the Mod Dog collection goes to developing alternative energy sources.
Dog Gone It Designs makes made in the USA collars, leashes, and harnesses in tons of vibrant colors. I love that you can personalize all of their collars, leads, and harnesses with a name and/or phone number. And choose from a giant selection of patterns and colors. Plus, they have a charitable donation program in place.
Architect Mirren Fischer founded her Scotland-based company, Luxury Hound, back in 2008. Mirren set out to create a dog boutique where “discerning dogs and the companions who love them can find delightfully designed dog collars, luxurious leads, and other sophisticated doggy products — all made with pride in Scotland.” Looking through Luxury Hound’s beautiful website, I would say Mirren has achieved just that!
