By now you’re probably familiar with Boo, “The World’s Cutest Dog”. This adorable little Pomeranian has nearly 7 million Facebook fans, not to mention national TV appearances and a few book deals under his belt. Boo’s cuteness crusade doesn’t stop there, though. Everyone’s favorite pooch has now been immortalized in a collection of plush toys from Gund, wearing everything from birthday hats to bathing suits!
We’re always excited for the chance to review high quality toys here at Dog Milk (especially ones that made it onto our gift guide!). So many toys seem designed to fall apart in 0.003 seconds, that it’s refreshing when new toys come on the market that promise durability. Enter the Garden Fresh plush toy collection from P.L.A.Y. I had a chance to see these super durable (almost freakishly durable) dog toys from PrideBites in person at BlogPaws last month, where PrideBites won “Coolest New Company of 2012″. I was blown away by their all-in-one-ness: each toy is crafted with soft fleece, two layers of “rip-stop” material, and reinforced stitching — all of which encase squeakers housed inside stuffing made of foam. Oh, and they’re machine washable and, if your dog is a water lover, they float, too! Did you catch all that??
Since it’s been in the 50s and 60s here on the East Coast the past week, I thought it was only fitting to start talking about Spring. Mungo & Maud has released their Spring 2012 collection, and it’s so lovely. I really like the soothing color palette. Go check it out!
Well, February is upon us, which means we’re being assaulted with hearts and Cupids and “every kiss begins with Kaayyyyyy” at every turn. Even though I’m married and in love and all that jazz, Valentine’s Day usually makes me want to kick things. When you think about it, though, we all have the best Valentines around — our pups! I mean, they actually show us what love is all about, and they don’t care a thing about cards and roses and diamonds. We’ve rounded up some great Valentine’s Day items for you and your pup.
