Where’s Momo? Finding Momo. What About Momo? Okay, the terribly dated pop culture puns could go on for hours, so I’ll stop while I’m ahead (I’m still ahead right??). If my lame puns are any indication, Momo is hard to find. This elusive border collie is the muse of graphic designer Andrew Knapp, whose Instagram stream is dedicated to the hard-to-spot Momo.
Whoa, I love this DIY bed idea spotted on Norwegian blog BRIGG: fold a small children’s mattress, top it with faux sheepskin, and hold it all together with two leather belts. BAM! A ridiculously rad pet bed in about 5 minutes.
Also, how adorable is that little Boston Terrier?? More below and on BRIGG.
Have you checked out the most recent issue of PAWSH yet? It’s full of incredible photos, including a hefty spread featuring Los Angeles-based photographer Michael Brian‘s stunning imagery. Oh, and a really awesome interview with him, where he offers some fascinating insights into healthy human-dog relationships, what he’d like to see change in the pet world, and why true connections really matter. It’s a great read full of lovely photos — check it out here (pg. 10 – 27).
I spotted this pack of adorable furballs in a recent issue of Dwell and my first thoughts were: “Can I pet them?” and “How do I get invited to a party at this house?”
You know, sometimes you just find yourself browsing Flickr, like you do, looking for something inspiring and BAM! You hit the mother lode. Turns out, Boston Public Library has amassed a huge collection of photographs from the late 1800s/early 1900s, including this impressive collection of turn-of-the-century-ish cats and dogs doin’ their thing. It’s a fascinating peek into the past that’s sure to put a smile on your face — and reinforce the timeless (and special) nature of the canine-human connection.
Free Stitch is a Japanese dog apparel and accessories company that I discovered on the (fabulous) Blanket ID blog. They have a whole HUGE gallery of adorable dogs in their stylish, well-made clothes, collars, and the like. Be warned: once you enter the photo gallery, there’s no coming out. At least not for a few hours, anyway!
UPDATE: Turns out we actually posted about Free Stitch already… Ha! I guess that just goes to show how much we’re obsessed with their product photography.
