I love these leashes and frequently use mine. The coupler is great for walking on trails. Like others have said, I never use it in busy areas, because it gives them that extra room to to knock into someone or steal some food on the ground. I've also found it to be a really, really bad idea to combine the coupler with the leash. There's just too much stretchy and I don't have a shred of control over them. Now I use a cotton leash with the coupler or just the wacky walk'r leash on one dog.

Looks like a good idea but if you actually want to 'train' your dog not to pull I suggest the gentle leader. We used it for about a summer long on our 90 pound-arm pulling out of socket-dog and we don't even use it anymore as he learned not to pull! I don't see how this strechy one is controllable enough if you had to pull your dog away from something in a sticky situation. Why put up with any pulling at all?

yeah I've been testing out a similar product (another stretchy leash). And it is the PERFECT solution for a pushy Jack Russell! She can yank and tug all she wants and it is like the leash is a giant shock-absorber!

But I concur with Adrienne B - once you need to reel the dog in and have them under control - the stretchy leash is not the best. Though I found by grabbing the leash 1/3 of the way down the rubbery part (not just at the handle) the pliability was diminished and made for a easier way to control the dog.

I agree. Because the leash extends and stretches, there is a chance your dog will go further than you want him to. So, we use our regular leash for vet visits and such.

I have one of these- they do work! My only caveat- it's not a good leash to use when you might need to control your dog and keep them very close to you- like at the vets. But for walks- it's great.

I love the look and colors, they also look really strong which I think helps with wimpy people when they pass by :)
Love the pics of Lulu and beans too!
