Wooden Dog-Shaped Teething Toys from Smiling Tree Toys
I don’t have kids (my dogs are my babies — I’m that level of dog-crazy), but I have a lot of friends who either just had babies, are expecting/adopting, or planning to add to their two-legged family soon. As the resident kid-less dog lady, I feel it’s my duty to pass along an early love for canines, especially in the form of adorable and modern dog-themed baby items. Enter Smiling Tree Toys!
This Minnesota-based mom and pop shop creates organic wooden toys that are all-natural and made-by-hand. Their collection extends from teethers to rattles to building blocks and more. Obviously, I’m keen on their dog-shaped teethers, which sell for a very reasonable $12. I’m definitely hitting up their Etsy shop the next time a baby shower invite lands on my doorstep.
I totally agree with you. We have furbabies too, and I try and start a love of animals in kids. They need to grow up respecting animals. Doesn´t always work, but it´s good when it does. Furbabies are just so much more fun aren´t they?!
